This 45-piece adult concert band was founded in 1981 to provide entertainment for the community and a performance outlet for the experienced adult woodwind, brass and percussion musician. The band serves as an ambassador for the Village of Oregon as it performs at venues around the state.

Marches, overtures and other familiar works are programmed each year for the indoor fall concert and the summer evenings-in-the-park performances at the Oregon Band Shell held in June and July. All concerts are free and open to the public. Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings at the Oregon Middle School.

The band has remained self-supporting throughout its existence with generous support offered by local service organizations and band members themselves.
